I have found it hard to upload The Shawshank Redemption, but I will now. This was the hardest films emotionally, that I have ever watched. I lost it and I hope you can understand, but here it is. Uploading it now...

Can't wait to see it with you. It's one of my favorite movies, an opinion I share with many as it is frequently near the top of most best movies ever made lists. I recently made my boyfriend of 15 years watch it. He tends to stay away from dramas as he finds them depressing. (He's not terribly fond of comedies either as he finds them too predictable) I let him know that yes, there are some darker moments - I mean, it takes place in a prison after all...but there is some humor, fantastic storytelling and an uplifting message. He gave it a chance and even he had to admit, it was a pretty good movie and even though a little depressing but he liked the overall message of hope. And don't ever apologize for for breaking down or finding a movie hard to watch emotionally. You're human and a compassionate one at that- something I admire in others. :)
