New rules / Scalping issues / Patreon cooldown system for mini designs (Patreon)

So the last few weeks I have been made aware of many cases of scalping of my designs. [keeping it anon for everyone's protection.]

What is scalping? It pretty much means purchasing a design for a certain amount of money and unreasonably increasing the price to resell it for monetary gain.

[Example : I sell a mini for $75, someone purchases and flips the price to $150 with either no extra work or very little extra work.]

So sadly I will be adding some rules to hopefully avoid scams like this!

 PLEASE READ THESE NEW RULES, IF YOU BREAK THEM IT COULD LEAD TO A BAN FROM OWNING MY DESIGNS

- You can only resell minis after 3 days of purchasing. You must wait the 72 hours before taking offers on the design. 

- gift art will not add value to the design. A lot of people simply want to draw designs they enjoy, so please take it as a gift and not as a value gain. 

- You can NOT sell a design with ''promised'' artwork. If you have artwork on the way of such design, you must wait until the artwork is finished and posted to add it to the value of the design. If you can not wait, you can not add it to the value of the existing design. 

- You may use your own work as added value, but it must match your commission prices. Yes, I do keep track of this depending on the buyer.

- You can not have ''estimate'' prices on my designs. Example : ''this design is worth $100-$125'' no. The design must be correctly valued, you may take lower offers if you struggle with selling, of course, but nothing over the calculated value of the design. Estimate prices can only apply to the designer selling their OWN designs. 

What happens if these rules are broken after this announcement?

You will get a firm warning. A reminder of the rules. I do trust you all will respect these very simple rules and understand why I have to add these. 

If you break the rules for a second time This will lead to a ban of owning my designs. You may keep my current designs you own, but you will no longer be able to purchase from me or others who own my designs. 

If, for some reason, you do attempt to buy a design after the ban, I will have no choice but to revoke the design [I am hoping I will never have to do this but this is my last resort] and you will be placed on a public blacklist to warn other designers. 

A reminder that this will probably never happen. I do not want to be that kind of designer. But I also need to keep my community fair, safe and also put my respectful clients first. 

New cooldown rule for my patreon batches!

Since I have heavy traffic of my designs on patreon, I will be adding this rule. 

After you purchase a design from my official weekly minis [the ones on Thursdays] you get a cooldown. Which means, you can not purchase a design the next week on Thursday. So you may buy a design every other week. And yes, this rule starts tomorrow.

THIS RULE DOES NOT APPLY TO MY ''SURPRISE'' BATCHES! [EXAMPLE : MERMAY] those are free range no matter if you are on a cooldown or not!!

And with mentioning mermay, I will also being adding this. 

Since I got a lot of support with these random mermay adopt batches through out the month, this will now be a MONTHLY thing!! That means each month will have SURPRISE BATCHES ALONG with my normal Thursday batch! They will be themed to either big holidays, seasonal, or possibly a theme that my patrons get to choose! [AKA patreon polls! Which will start in June/July] 

Surprise batches will be at random through the month, it will never do less than 2 batches a month, but it could be as many as 5 extra batches a month!

So I hope this makes up for the cool down. You still get quite a lot of designs each month while being my patron!
