And here's the other new Slamazon Villain, a bit more villainous than the last, but awesome regardless.

ORIGIN

Alejandro Maldonado was a man trying to make a better life for himself and his beautiful wife, whom he loved more than life itself. In an attempt to give her everything she had ever wanted he borrowed money from some powerful and dangerous men. He was sure he could double the money and pay back what he owed, but bandits stole it before he could do anything with it. The lenders tracked him down and executed his wife in front of him in a rose garden. From that day forward he became El Espectro de las Rosas, a man sworn to vengeance upon those who had wronged him.

This, however, was all just a wrestling story. In real life, Alejandro had never even been married. He was an ex-con trying to start a new life in Lucha Libre. He was athletic and had a talent for acting, and so he quickly grew in popularity. It seemed like things were really looking up for him.

Until the dreams began.

Alejandro began to have vivid dreams of his wrestling backstory. Over and over again he watched his "wife" executed before him in the rose garden. Although these dreams were traumatizing, he was able to help himself along by reminding himself they were just dreams until one day he saw a woman in the audience in the middle of one of his shows and recognized her as his "wife" from the dreams. Convinced she was in danger, he broke off the act to try to convince her that she needed protection. The woman was, naturally, quite disturbed by this. Some of his fellow wrestlers and even members of the crowd tried to drag him away from her, but it was at this moment his powers activated, and he overpowered them all. HE kidnapped the woman, convinced it was for her own good, and Slamazon had to rescue her.

It is currently unknown what the source of El Espectro de las Rosas's powers is or why he had these dreams.

POWERS

  • Super strength
  • Extreme athletic ability
  • Able to create spectral thorny vines that he can use as weapons
