Another new Toonman villain we're previewing for you guys, and if you've been with us since the beginning then you'll recongize this villain!

ORIGIN

The Death of Sylvester Turner had been Toonman’s first defining moment as well as his greatest regret to haunt him from the beginning of his superhero career. Upon arrival in the human world and seeking out Marty Mason, Toonman had happened on a rising hood in a high tech battle suit utilizing a strange “slime” chemical compound to rob a bank. That hood had been Sylvester Turner, having acquired the suit from Ryker, and he had been robbing the bank to pay back his debt. But Sylverster was making no qualms about taking lifes or captives in the process, and as a result Tom Foolery stepped in to keep the innocents safe, managing to take Sylvester down with cartoon antics and marking what was both his debut as a superhero and battle with a supervillain. However, it had also opened Tom’s eyes to the harsh realities of the human world and the very concept of death, as his antics unintentionally caused Slyvester’s untimely demise. Toonman was guilt-ridden and forever scared with necrophobia, making a vow on his purpose as a cartoon character never to take a life again.

Naturally, Mara Mason tried to spin Toonman’s actions as a way to label him a menace and had him put on trial weeks later, but a combination of Toonman’s recent heroic deeds, remorseful plea and ultimately deciding he was acting in defense of himself and others ultimately declared him not guilty by the jury. Within the coming days, however, strange “accidents'' began occurring around Toonman. The assailant responsible was revealed to be none other than Sylvester, now an undead “ghost in the machine” inhabiting his armored suit which was possessed and held together by his slime compound, now a ghastly ectoplasm. Later aid from supernatural experts revealed that Sylvester’s spirit could not be laid to rest until his murder’s spirit left the plain as well. This unfortunately meant that for him to cross over, Toonman would have to die, and Slyverster was going to see the Animated Ace dead one way or another in retribution for his own demise.

As death is not something common to cartoons, Slyvester’s efforts at first seemed fruitless. But as Toonmans continuous battles with Slyverster and other villains began revealing he was not all that invulnerable after all, Slyvester’s unfinished business may come quicker than he thinks.
