Toonman Archenemy: The Censor (Patreon)

Hey Guys! We're giving you another sneak-preview at a brand new Toonman villain coming to his series! This here is the Censor, leader of the Black Bar terrorist group who wish to censor all cartoons... PERMANENTLY!!

ORIGIN

They had called themselves “The Black Bar,” a terrorist group formed in the years following the events that bridged the human world and Toontopia that sought to “censor” the growing presence of cartoons in the human world and end animation altogether. Their formation was in response to both the chaos of cartoon immigrants making attempts to adapt to the realism of the human world as well as the death toll caused by cartoons such as Night Sovereign who sought “retribution” for the disregard humans had for their own cartoon creations. The Black Bar stationed attacks all over the world targeting anything regarding animation, from studios and theme parks to the cartoons themselves and their creators. The Black Bar made its message clear- so long as cartoons occupied Earth and animators continued to create more, potentially dangerous beings, the attacks would not cease. The cartoons would have to return to Toontopia forever and animation would have to die, otherwise more lives would be lost to their cause.

At the heart of this group was a mastermind known as “The Censor”, a brilliant tactician with the sway and charisma of a cult leader who easily brought others to his cause. His stance against cartoons was greater than most of those in Toonman’s Peanut Gallery, leaving Toonman questioning if the Censor was secretly one of his other rogues in disguise. After Toonman led a crusade against the Black Bar, he and his fellow cartoons were shocked to discover that the Censor was nothing more than a former FCC clerk named Smith, who had lost his family following the devastating onslaught perpetrated by Night Sovereign’s first attack. Fearing what horrors could continue from the growing presence of more cartoons on Earth, Turner formed the identity of the Censor to put an end to cartoons once and for all.

Despite his arrest, Smith’s attacks had left their mark, leaving behind increased conflict between toons and humans and the place of animation in a new world.

To Be Honest, Censor is a villain that won't come until way later on in Toonman's adventures, but we didn't seen any reason we shouldn't preview him to our adoring audience! :D. Hope you guys enjoyed this character, we'd love to hear your comments!
