Rogue Wave Pirates rogue: The Narwhal (Patreon)

Hey guys! This is going to be the last RWP villain we're going to be introducing for a while, so you guys are getting an exclusive first look!!

ORIGIN

Across the globe there had been growing reports of whale attacks, but not in a traditional sense. Tankers, cargo ships, commercial vessels, mining rigs, even research and tourist vessels were supposedly being attacked where whales were migrating or made their home, with many lost to the depths from the attacks. The official reports giving by any survivors were a curious one- it seemed some of these attacks had been perpetrated by the whales themselves, but most of them seemed to involve some sort of a ‘humanoid whale’ according to eyewitnesses. And when the Rogue Wave Pirates’ own ship came under attack by these seemingly gentle giants turned offenders, they eventually decided to investigate.

The crew’s investigation led them to the Canadian arctic to a lone Inuit community, which had been the home of a being the locals called “the Narwal”. Indeed, a living humanoid whale-man like his namesake, he claimed to be a chosen vessel of given new life by the great goddess Sedna, and he claimed he had been tasked with the protection and liberation of the world’s marine animal kingdom which too long had been disturbed by mankind. His attacks were clear: so long as the world continued to endanger the homes and lives of his marine mammalian brethren, then he would lead them in an eye-for-an-eye against humanity.

Though most of the Rogue Wave Pirates wrote him off as a crazed ecoterrorist, there was no denying that Narwhal’s incredible strength and prowess all well connected to marine mammals made him a dangerous foe they would deal with time and time again.

Powers/Abilities

• Claims to be an incarnated vessel of Sedna, Inuit goddess of the sea, which gave him his whale-physiology and amazing abilities such as:
  • Superhuman strength and invulnerability against most physical and energy attacks.
  • Superhuman speed, both on land and in water.
  • Tusk-Protrusion from head and hands.
  • Able to control and command marine mammals and even enhanced them to be able to attack vessels without damage.
• Eco-Terrorist out to protect the world whale and marine mammal population.
