Toonman Solo Superhero Ally - Humble Bee (Patreon)

Hey Guys! Since it's still WIPWednesday, we thought we'd shake up things for our newest post and share with you a brand new superheroine we plan to introduce to Toonman as a supporting ally and eventual spin-off solo series hero!

This here is Ivory Armstrong aka Humble Bee, a formerly spoiled, rich mean girl (Think Heather Chandler fused with Regina George) who's private jet was shot down over the Antarctic by hidden, invading race of alien bees known as The Swarm, whom she was promptly enslaved and abused by. While trying to escape she feel into one of the pools of royal Swarm Jelly and mutated into a hulking, Swarm Hybrid that you before you, gaining colossal strength and a large arsenal of gross bee-powers.

After finally returning home only to find that no one, not even her parents, had mourned her supposed demise and even celebrated her death, Ivory is saved by and helps Toonman during a Swarm attack and vows to use her new powers to become a much better, humbler person and defend the world from the Swarm. Her journey to redemption is one of constant karma and humiliation, showcasing the classic trope that most powers are definitely more of a curse than a blessing.
