That tour started right around when Casual started to go viral on Tiktok, so I'm not sure which one happened first, but definitely her live performances on that tour were what got her popular on Tiktok before the tiny desk concert

i think their singing voices sound a bit similar sometimes in certain songs when chappell is doing less complex vocals, but their musical styles and overall vocal ranges are *very* different so it does feel a bit strange to say that they’re ‘basically the same’ the way hasan phrased it lol
