Is it just me, or do these vocals sound a bit... damp?

Sometimes a voice will get these wet lip-smacking sounds in it, and it's a major pain in the ass. You can take preventative measures like a pop filter, and correct mic placement, and drinking water etc... (other suggestions online include green apples and lemon juice?), but sometimes the sounds are persistent, and I find I've just gotta try again later. It sucks to have to discard and re-record 18 minutes of edited audio, but it's better than releasing a video with bad vocals..

And besides, re-recording is an opportunity to refine the delivery. 18 minutes is pretty slow for a 3000 word script - I'll speak a little faster in the new recording, probably fit it into 16-17 minutes.

Once the audio is finalised, it'll take just another couple days to complete the video (:

Damp sounds like the perfect way to describe it. Hope the re record goes well. Very excited for this video. Hope you mention the potential of valyrian steel armor vs the white walkers. "Euron Greyjoy is invulnerable to White Walkers?" Cheers

Yeah, the re-record sounds much better (: I only briefly mention Euron's Valyrian armour – will focus on that more in some future Euron video. But yeah, there's lots of cool speculation on the properties of that armour - like maybe it'll protect him from dragonfire...
