The four major contenders for the rule of the north:

- Jon Snow, named as heir to King Robb

- Sansa Stark, who Littlefinger plans to install with the help of the Vale

- Rickon Stark, backed by Wyman Manderly

- Bran Stark, who may be a tree-boy, but is technically the rightful heir, for what it's worth

The big questions for the GNC concern who is supporting whom, how deep the conspiracies go – and what the likely outcomes may be...

Will be fascinated to see what happens in Bran heads south of Wall, as soon as he does he is Robbs KitN heir for the same reason he was in charge at Winterfell in S2 basically. In the books I reckon the RL Lords declare for Sansa (Cats daughter) and the Northern Lords for Jon but the show seems to have Bran as 3-eyed god and he can choose to abdicate I guess Essentially I can see Sansa ruling Vale and RL given her influence over Sweetrobin, and Jon ruling North and Wildling North given his relationship with Clansmen and Wildlings and now book Karstarks. What Manderly does will be interesting as he is on the southern tip and can go either Jon or Sansa in the event of Rickons death

I'd love to hear your speculation on how the books and show may differ on the rule of the north if you see fit to include that. Stoked for this vid!

The show has diverged from the books so much that it might be tricky to juggle show-canon alongside book-canon in this vid – but we'll see how it goes, I will try to address it a bit (:

Maybe it's over-optimistic, but I could see Sansa ruling the north while Jon rules as King on the Iron Throne... Rickon I expect will die, and Bran I expect will be a tree. But who knows? (:
