Recently I've gotten permission to use official ASOIAF artwork from TWOIAF, as well as from fan artists The Mico and Amok. Which is awesome, but it creates some tricky design decisions... I think it's great to have a face for book-only characters like Gerion – especially when a video focusses on character and personality – but it sucks to have a cartoonish art style clash with the realistic GOT and TWOIAF images... So maybe I should just use a house sigil... What do you think?

I don't mind the mix since we understand the reason and it puts a distinct face to the name. You're doing great work here. Thanks for asking.

Yeah there is a bit of a contrast, one idea that comes to my mind is to maybe try a fade in and out effect, eg put all cartoon characters on one and then fade into a tree showing the TV show images and icons for missing characters and back into ASOIF pictures of noticeably different grahpic style which shows more characters - just have the images fading in and out during the voice over? Just food for thought....got the idea of Secret of Monkey Island, eg where it can fade into 1990 version and fade into more modern version during gameplay...but it may be a way to fit everything in without a jarring contrast

Might be a good way to juggle the show version and books version of the story. Eg you have the same issue with the Greyjoys as the Lannisters, eg Uncle Kevan is Tyrions only Uncle in the show and Euron is only Uncle in the show too but in books there is Gerion as well as Victarion...
