Alt Shift X 2017 – Aegon, GNC, Westworld (Patreon)

Hey guys, Alt Shift X is gearing up to return in the new year – here's what's in store...

A video about Aegon's Conquest, the war that established the Targaryen dynasty 300 years before Game of Thrones. The vid will tell the story of the Conquest, and draw strategic lessons that Daenerys might apply in her own invasion of Westeros. This vid will be out in early Jan (:

The bigger ongoing project is the Grand Northern Conspiracy video – an analysis of the complex theories surrounding northern politics in Dance. This will be one of the biggest ASX vids ever, and I'm not yet sure when it'll be done – but will keep you posted.

There's also the possibility of a Westworld video – I've now actually seen the show, and yeah I think it's definitely worth an Explained video. As with the Stranger Things video, it's always a tricky experiment to venture into a new series – but I think it'll be well worth it for Westworld. For now, though, the GOT videos take priority.

Beyond these few vids, the plan is to keep focussing on GOT / ASOIAF theories and analysis – we'll hold Patron votes, so you guys can choose topics to cover (:
