Alt Shift X update – a break, and 2017 (Patreon)

Thank you all so much for your support this year! 2016 has been huge for Alt Shift X, with the GOT Season 6 Explained videos, long-awaited videos on Varys, the maesters, and Jaqen, a foray into other series with the Stranger Things vid, time-lapse videos, an inexplicable monologue about straw hats, and many other videos besides. Audio, video, and content quality have massively improved this year, and the sheer volume of content has doubled – we released 5 hours of video this year, as opposed to 2.5 hours last year. None of this would have been possible without your support – so again, thank you.

Alt Shift X is now taking some time off – so the Patreon has been paused, and no one will be charged for the next two months. Alt Shift X returns in 2017, we'll be leaping right back into the Game of Thrones content – with the Grand Northern Conspiracy first and foremost. One of our big goals for 2017 is to establish a more consistent output of shorter 5-10 minute videos, alongside the 15-20 minute monsters. It's awesome to take on huge challenges like the Stranger Things video and the Dany's visions video, but I also want to keep up a steady stream of shorter videos. Also, there's been a huge demand for Westworld content, so we might also cover that in future.
