The final season of The Expanse is starting in a week, so here’s a recap video covering the story so far. We’re also making a video about the premiere episode S6E01, and a video about the series finale, comparing the season to the books. The ninth and final Expanse book, Leviathan Wakes, just came out too – so maybe we could interview the Expanse authors Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck again to discuss the ending of their series…

The Dune video is coming. Sorry it’s taking so long. Dune is super complex and I want to do it justice. The video covers the worldbuilding of Dune, and compares the new movie to the first book. (Check out this Dune livestream for a preview). In future, I’d like to do additional videos exploring the sequel books and deeper lore. Dune is an enormous, strange, and fascinating universe, and there are more Dune movies and TV series coming in the years ahead – so I think there’ll be a lot more Dune content on Alt Shift X.

Once The Expanse and Dune videos are done, we’ll hold a Patreon vote to choose an ASOIAF character to make a video about, similar to the “real Tyrion Lannister video”. I also want to finish that Asshai video. And in 2022, we’ll go deep into Fire & Blood, to cover the new House of the Dragon prequel TV show.
