Obsidian update #2 (Patreon)

One of the enduring mysteries in ASOIAF is the obsidian cache buried in the Fist of the First Men. Jon uncovers it in Clash, and wonders if it might have been left there by the children of the forest thousands of years ago – but he notices that the cloak it's wrapped in hasn't rotted, suggesting that the obsidian was buried recently. Was the cache buried by Benjen Stark? Or maybe Bloodraven and Coldhands? It was Ghost who led Jon to the cache – maybe Bloodraven was manipulating Ghost with some skinchanging shenanigans...

In the show, the cache is uncovered by Grenn and Sam instead of Jon, and it's noted to be very old, buried beneath a rock bearing runes of the First Men – so maybe it was left by some ancient Night's Watchmen... Kinda weird that the show deviated from the books that way. 

Anyway, the script is looking pretty good. So far it discusses real-world obsidian, the children of the forest, the cache on the Fist, the Others, Dragonstone, Skagos and Valyria. I also want to add a bit about glass candles, then I reckon the script will be done. So the video's not far away now. Should be a goodun.
