I didn't expect this video to be very big, but it ended up growing into one of the longest and most complex ASX videos ever – that's why it took so long to make. For the next vid, I want to really focus on producing it quickly – without compromising on quality. For the topic, I'm thinking obsidian, or maybe Valyrian steel or the Doom of Valyria – will make a post in the next couple days (:


Anyway, I'm pretty happy with how this video turned out. In some ways, the script could have been tighter, but the analysis and visuals are pretty solid imho. Enjoy!

This is great! It is exactly the type of video that brings different strings together and is interesting for show watchers and readers of the books alike. Personally I especially enjoy long videos on complex topics, so would suggest a video covering obsidian and valyrian steel and their connection to dragonfire.

Thanks! Yeah I really enjoyed touching on lots of very different characters and events from throughout the series. I dunno if the content on obsidian and Valyrian steel is enough to warrant a long, complex video – but I'll definitely try to bring together all the important details that I can (:

Amazing as always, and I deffo think you should look into getting on a site like Zazzle and selling the final image (of all the quotes, pics, etc) as a poster. :) On the content itself - someone brought this up on the ASOIAF Reddit as to how much Pycelle is hiding. Thanks Ruby! Yeah I'd love to sell posters, but I suspect there would be copyright issues with selling stuff with Game of Thrones content all over it... Maybe I could just provide a high-resolution image to Patrons so they can print out their own poster (: Yeah that Pycelle scene is cool, and could probably support his involvement in a conspiracy, though as you say it's not in the books. I do hope that we eventually get a better explanation of exactly why Pycelle is so committed to Tywin and House Lannister – simple admiration doesn't seem a sufficient explanation imho.
