This is the second-longest Alt Shift X video ever, and maybe the most dense – there’s analysis and speculation, neat details and plot holes, Fight Club and Matrix and Jesus and Minecraft… Season 3 was a real mixed bag, and this video reflects that – but there are still some really cool concepts and possibilities in here. So hopefully this video brings some clarity and meaning and closure to Season 3.

Now that we’re finished with Westworld, it’s time for an ASOIAF / Game of Thrones video. The winner of the Patron vote is the Hooded Man of Winterfell – who’s behind the mysterious murders in Winterfell in ADWD? We’ve already covered the Grand Northern Conspiracy and the Pink Letter – but the frozen north is brimming with yet more secrets…

Also on the horizon are videos about His Dark Materials, and possibly Devs (first couple episodes of Devs are pretty cool, and super relevant to Westworld’s themes..). I’d also like to cover Dark, but Dark Season 3 is in a month, and that’s not enough time to make a video that does justice to such an intricate story. Maybe if Season 3 is mind-blowing, we’ll just have to do a full series explained video or something… But for now the focus is the Hooded Man.

Also, now that the on-season Westworld rush is done, we’ll be more consistent with posting videos early for Patrons – you’ll usually get them about a day early.
