Coldhands update #1 (Patreon)

So Coldhands is a character from the ASOIAF books who doesn't appear in the TV show. He guides Bran, Jojen, Meera and Hodor to the three-eyed crow beyond the Wall – but we first see him saving Sam and Gilly from wights in the Haunted Forest. Coldhands rides a "giant elk", "ten feet tall at the shoulder, with a rack of antlers near as wide" – which sounds hilariously impractical in a forest.I've gathered together all the references to Coldhands in the books, and now I'm working through the various theories about Coldhands' identity – lots of cool ideas here (:
