Alt Shift X 2019 (Patreon)

In 2018, we made some of our best and most-requested ASOIAF videos ever – like Bloodraven, Patchface, Essos, and the Doom of Valyria. We also covered new series – Westworld, The Expanse and Annihilation. We’ll do more new stuff in the future – shows like Black Mirror and Maniac, the upcoming Dune, Watchmen and His Dark Materials adaptations… Maybe some more non-fiction edu content… An Alt Shift Book Club podcast... Lots of possibilities.

But 2019 brings the final season of Game of Thrones – so now’s the time to focus on GOT. We’ll make recaps, trailer breakdowns, and explainers on the big mysteries and character arcs – Azor Ahai, Jon Snow’s parentage, Sansa, Bran, Melisandre, the Iron Throne, Cleganebowl – so everyone’s caught up before the premiere in April. During the season, we’ll make weekly episode videos, and weekly livestreams for Patrons, like last season. And after all that... I’ll take a long ass vacation.

This’ll be a crazy surreal hectic exciting time – by ~June, we’ll finally know who lives and dies, who sits the Throne, the secrets of the white walkers, the fates of Jon Dany Tyrion Jaime Cersei Arya Sansa Bran and all the rest. It’s not A Dream of Spring – but it’s an end to Game of Thrones.
