Westworld S2 Finale update #5: Bernard (Patreon)

Bernard has been a pain in the arse. Who would've thought that such a wildly non-linear storyline would be difficult to set straight...

But Bernard doesn't actually do much for most of the season – just gets dragged along on other characters' quests. That adds to the drama of Bernard's first real choice – resurrecting Dolores as Charlotte. This rebirth is part of a broader cycle by Dolores and Bernarnold – representing the capacity of hosts to grow and change, in contrast to the humans trapped in their loops...

Bernard is the last big puzzle piece, next to William, Dolores and Maeve. There's also a quick paragraph about some side-plots and unanswered questions, then a neat conclusion to put a bow on the video, and the season.
