So how wacky do we want to get with this Patchface video? The script already covers the essentials – Patchface’s backstory, drowning, and likely relationship with the Drowned God. The meanings of his prophetic songs. His possible connections with the white walkers, and the Lovecraftian Deep Ones. But we can go even further, arguing that Patchface is a secret Targaryen who’ll “wake the stone dragon” by unleashing a greyscale plague on Westeros – and possibly eating Shireen? There’s some serious salty tinfoil here if you’ve the stomach for it.. In any case, the video is looking great – dark and deep and strange, like Patchface himself.

Also, have you guys seen the new movie Annihilation? It’s a psychological, visually rich sci-fi steeped in mystery and biology and human drama, based on a novel of the same name. It’d be cool to do a quick video exploring the central mysteries and themes of the movie, compared to the novel (which is different in lots of ways). Could make a great first movie analysis for Alt Shift X (:
