Winter is almost here – Game of Thrones Season 7 begins in just a couple more days!

It's been a busy week at Alt Shift X – on the eve of the new season, there've been some... unexpected staffing changes. Nothing disastrous – but there's been a lot to rearrange in a short amount of time. Adding that chaos to the usual pre-season preparations has left precious little time for the Rhaegar video – so it won't be complete before S7. Maybe a release during the season will make sense – we'll see how it goes.

Regardless, the main focus of ASX for the next seven weeks will be producing Game of Thrones Season 7 Explained videos – one for each episode. This is always a crazy busy time – but we've learned a lot from last year, and are ready to make this series of videos better than ever (:

Also, we'll hold a Patron-only livestream after each S7 episode – I'll present some thoughts, then we can chat about the episode, and hear the sorts of questions you guys want to have answered in the Explained video. I'm thinking of holding the livestreams at 9PM ET Mondays – 24 hours after each episode airs. This may not suit Europeans, though, so maybe we'll also hold some at 9AM ET Tuesday – 36 hours after the episode. The livestreams will be a bit of an experiment – but should be a fun way to talk Thrones with all everyone who supports ASX (:
