Update: HOTD S2 and Dune 2 (Patreon)

New trailers are out for House of the Dragon Season 2! We talked first impressions in a livestream for livestream-tier Patrons. And we’re now working on a video to recap HOTD Season 1, introduce the new characters, and prepare for Season 2. It’ll be a no-spoilers “Everything you need to know” type video, similar to our Season 1 intro video.

We’ll also do a livestream soon to discuss Dune Part Two. I have a lot to say about the movie. Overall I liked it, and I liked many of the changes it made from the book, but I also have criticisms. We’ll make a big video to compare the movie to the book in-depth – The Real Dune Part Two – though that’ll take a while to finish.

And we’re working on many more Dune videos. A video about the Greatest Fighters in Dune is 90% complete, and a video about Dune Character Appearances in the Book v Movies is 90% done. The Philosophy of Dune is half done. And we’ve started researching a video about the fascinating life of Frank Herbert, author of Dune. Most of these Dune videos will come out after HOTD S2, after the Dune Part Two Blu-ray comes out.

I also want to make videos about Tuf Voyaging, Sandkings, and George Martin’s other early work…
