Hi all, just wanted to give you a heads-up (in case you somehow missed it) that my two latest books are now available for purchase at Limited Run Games. I've put together a small promo video here to talk you through what you'll find in each volume.

Of course, if you are a book-tier patron, you have a copy of one or both of these headed your way soon. Make sure your shipping details are in order by this weekend! I now have seven boxes of books in my office that I am very eager to relocate to other people's offices ASAP.

For everyone else, you can find the books here:

These have been a long time coming, and I'm happy to finally be able to unleash them upon the world. Please enjoy!

Now in print: Super NES Works Vol. I: 1991 & Virtual Boy Works

You've watched the videos; now you can read, uh, the videos. In print. The complete run of Virtual Boy Works and Super NES Works 1991 are now available in print form through Limited Run Games. Both volumes are available as both full-cover hardcover editions, either as standalone books or as part of a collector's edition with a fancy slipcase, poster, art by Bill Mudron, and other goodies. Each book contains expanded, revised text taken from the videos on this channel, along with a ton of new written material, high-resolution photography, direct feed screenshots, and plenty of supplemental info. I see these books are more of a horizontal shape, where the older works books are vertical. Will future NES and Game Boy books be shifting to horizontal as well?

Jeremy Parish

No, the books are laid out in the format that best suits the material. Virtual Boy has widescreen visual and Super NES has horizontal packaging, so it made more sense to shift to a landscape format. But other platforms' books will continue to be laid out in portrait format.

Howdy, I'm sure you've been busy lately, but will the hardcovers be sent out to patrons at that tier in the near future? Thanks!

Jeremy Parish

I’m steadily making progress toward getting them out, but they happened to arrive right at the beginning of what might be the single most chaotic and demanding period I’ve ever experienced. I’m slowly working through the pile and regret not having them all in the mail yet.
