Hey everyone, just a quick note here to provide a glimpse of what lies ahead for the next six weeks or so:

  • Sept. 9: Lynx 1990 Pt. 2 (of 3)
  • Sept. 16: Atari 7800 Pt. 1
  • Sept. 23: Atari 7800 Pt. 2
  • Sept. 30: Atari 7800 Pt. 3
  • Oct. 7: Elite for NES
  • Oct. 14: Metroidvania Works 13 (Castlevania II & Golvellius)

I realize that's kind of a lot of Atari all at once, but aside from one more Lynx episode... that brings all Atari coverage up to date with both NES Works and Game Boy Works. Yeah. There weren't just a whole lot of Atari games released in those early days for each platform.

And some happy news: My Virtual Boy is finally back from repairs, so I should be able to wrap up the Virtual Boy Works book next week. Monday is Labor Day, which is a day off from work, so... I guess I'll be spending it doing other work. You know how it goes.

I've also been plugging away at the Super NES Works 1991 book. I'm creating a lot of new supplemental content for it, so I have to take it slow and steady in order to fit it into my free time... I'm trying to complete one page of new material per day, with roughly 50 new pages yet to go. If all goes well, that should be ready to share with you at the end of next month.

There's also the aforementioned Mystery Book that I'm trying hard to put together. And at the moment, it looks like you should be able to expect NES Works 1987 and hopefully one other book around this time next year. In short, we're gonna need a bigger tree.

Thank you as always for your support!

I am all in for a month in Atariville. Been playing a lot of Food Fight on Evercade and the Lynx was my first handheld, so this is a month made just for me.

Since deciding to embark on a greater number of consoles to cover I've been wondering: are your monthly schedules regarding all these series more hectic, generally the same, or easier?
