Pieces falling into place (Patreon)

I have two of the three components I need in order to get high-definition RGB-quality video capture of NES light gun and R.O.B. games—a pro-grade CRT monitor (which has RGB pass-through) and a video-out cable that features the specific connections between a modded NES and this monitor. I'm just waiting on the third component (a second RGB cable to connect the monitor to the upscaler) to arrive from the UK and I can put together the next few episodes of Good Nintentions. This is pretty exciting! I've been wanting to solve the challenge of how to record high-definition Zapper game footage without resorting to emulation for the past year, and finally I almost have it locked down.

Anyway, I don't know how long it will be before the final cable arrives, but I figure I can probably get two more videos up before the end of the year either way. The games for the next two Game Boy World episodes are causing me a lot of heartache, but I shall overcome.
