Hi everyone, life is weird and somehow my efforts to chronicle classic video games has intersected with the hottest release of 2017. Next week's Super NES Works video will consist of a review of the Super NES Classic Edition mini-console… and, if I can pull it off in time, I'll also be posting a separate Star Fox 2 review as well. Since neither of these are actually out for sale until next Friday, I have to abide by Nintendo's review embargo guidelines, which fall after my usual Tuesday publish date. I also won't be able to post these videos in advance per my usual practice, because an embargo is an embargo and I'd like for Nintendo not to fire the Death Star at this Patreon campaign.

I figure you'll understand the somewhat unusual circumstances involved here and won't mind if the Super NES Works retrospective series very briefly covers not-yet-released products. This kind of thing won't be happening terribly often, you know?

To tide you over, I've posted the deluxe edition of the Super NES mini previews I published last night for Retronauts. This is a single video encompassing all the footage I broke into three chunks yesterday, plus it includes a few extra minutes of footage from Kirby's Dream Course. Please enjoy, and rest assured things will be back to the usual routine next week.

Post-script: Both NES Works books have been submitted to the printers and we should have advance proofs in a few days!

Totally understandable. Thanks Jeremy!

Such unusual circumstances indeed and with an unreleased game no less. I cannot wait to get my hands on my copy in the mail soon (assuming it arrives on Friday)! I look forward to these upcoming Works videos.
