As promised, the first of 2017's book releases is here in PDF form. NES Works 1986 will be the first book published in partnership with Fangamer, and you can expect to receive your mailing in a few months if you're at that tier — I'll be submitting print files after PAX ends, and it takes a while for a proper press run of real books to come through. I've locked down all patron names as of today, though, so current book-tier folks are guaranteed to receive this and NES Works 1985 (which will be (re)printing at the same time — expect a PDF within a couple of weeks).

Thanks as ever for your support, and I hope you enjoy the book! As usual, please don't share this file; it's strictly for you, the supporters who make these video efforts possible. Oh, and give me a shout if you notice any errors in the book. It's not too late to correct them. It's been through three rounds of copy editing at this point, but typos have a remarkable ability to slip through the cracks....

Thank you! One comment, though: please split up the double-page spreads into separate PDF pages. I understand that you're doing this to preserve the original design, and agree that it looks great, but this makes it really hard to read the PDF on a tablet as you'll constantly have to pan and zoom around. Every PDF viewer I know can easily display two pages side-by-side, so people reading it on a computer can still see it as it was intended with no loss of functionality.
