Retronauts Micro Video Edition #1: TI-99/4A

Hey kids, here's a fun experiment: This week's episode of Retronauts... as a video. Love it? Hate it? Let us know. This week's "off-week" episode introduces the Retronauts Micro format - short episodes running 10 minutes or less, meant to keep things lively between our regular biweekly shows.

This is super cool, Mr. Parish. I've never seen any of these games (apart from Dig Dug, of course), nor ever been anywhere near a Texas Instruments branded computer, so this is all completely unknown history to me. Great stuff. You do solid voice-over work, also. Oh, and the Kingdom of Zeal music was an inspired choice. Probably my third, maybe fourth piece of video game music ever.

My dad worked for TI at the Colorado Springs plant, so we had one of these growing up. Parsec was the first non-arcade game I ever played (curse those endless refueling stations!) and I spent a lot of time with Munch Man and Mountain Climber. Now I can refer people to this video instead of trying to explain what a TI99-4A is myself when I talk about my earliest gaming history. Thanks!
