February 2021 Development Roundup (Patreon)

Hey everyone! February was an incredibly busy month with personal stuff, so I didn't get much extra time for development work. I'm hoping this will change soon, but in the meantime, here's the (shorter than usual) roundup for everything I worked on last month.

Peek

In case you missed one of my previous posts, I released Peek 4.0 in early February. You can read all about it in this post. Since then, Google has manually approved the 4.0 update, so it's fully available to Chrome users as well as people using Firefox.

Diamond Supporters

This month I added a new Patreon supporter tier, the $5/mo Diamond Tier. The main benefit for people signing up is that their name appears in my software projects. During the month of February, I rolled out this functionality to a few of my projects.

PhotoStack now displays supporter names at the very bottom of the options. This is only temporary, though, as I'm planning to add a general 'About' page to PhotoStack with the names and other info displayed more prominently.

The recent Peek 4.0 update also lists supporter names in the settings page:

Finally, WhatDevice now lists supporters on the 'About' popup:

I'll continue adding the list to all my projects as I update them.
