I just rolled out a new feature for PhotoStack.app — app shortcuts! You may know that native applications on Android and other platforms can set shortcuts, which appear when you hold down on the app (at least on Android) and provide quick links to common functions. The native PhotoStack app for Android already had a shortcut for watermarks, but now the same functionality is available when installing PhotoStack from your web browser.

When you install PhotoStack to your home screen on Android, you can hold down on the icon to quickly jump to the Import or Watermarks dialogs. You can also hold down on one of the shortcuts to create a icon on your home screen just for that shortcut, just like with native apps.

App shortcuts are currently only functional in Chrome/Microsoft Edge 84, which is still in beta (but should roll out to everyone pretty soon). The feature works by default on Android, but if you're on Windows, you can turn it on by going to about://flags/#enable-desktop-pwas-app-icon-shortcuts-menu and setting the flag to 'Enabled.'
