Hey all! I just updated Nexus Tools, my installer for Android utilities (ADB, Fastboot, and so on) for Unix platforms, to version 4.2.

The only functional change in this release is that the detection code for the CPU architecture has been improved, which should prevent vague error messages in some situations. The codebase has also been slightly cleaned up, but there's probably more work that could be done there.

I've also implemented basic analytics in Nexus Tools for the first time, which should give me a better idea about which hardware/software platforms are most popular with people using the installer. The only data I'm collecting is the OS (Linux, Windows, Chrome OS, etc.) and CPU architecture (x86, x86_64, etc.), and the data is sent with a randomly-generated user ID. Also, data is only sent during the installation process — I'm not modifying Google's applications in any way.

You can try out Nexus Tools from the GitHub page here.
