Latest batch of work on the Hive!

The crunch is pretty intense. I think I'll take my time for the next demos, even if there's a slightly bigger gap between two releases. On the bright side, the progress is very good! The demo should be released by the beginning of August.

I started working on some new poses for June and Ms.Sato, as well as some new expressions for June.

After that, it was only dialogue integration and in-game work and programming from there.

Lunchtime is an opportunity for June to choose who will eat in the high chair and who will eat with her... like a big girl. 

This choice can earn a relationship point with one or the other, depending on whether June has already played with Maddie or Lola in the previous scene.

The next big segment is going to be the first one where a choice actually affects how some dialogues or scenes play out later during the day. June needs to go to the toilet, but due to an unexpected event, she must choose the best approach to take.

After accepting to do some errands for Ms.Sato, June can access new places! 

I plan to have a full map where you'll be able to choose where to go after clicking on locations. But this will be for faraway demos since all the locations need to be drawn first.

Once June enters the shop, she is greeted by "Big" Mike, a jolly guy who's going to offer her some comfort...

...In the shape of a unicorn plushie! 

Like with other items in the inventory, I plan to have some interactions when checking the plushie. It adds more life to the game if June can reflect on or interact with what she's carrying.

And that's about all for today! 

There's still some flavor text to integrate and a biiiiiiig playtest to make sure everything is working fine before the final release. Fingers crossed!
