Latest batch of work on the Hive!

I started by creating a new piece of "outfit" for Lola and Maddie, which will soon be used in a lunch scene!

I'm finally back to coding the game, a bit rusty, but it's coming back quickly!

I began by touching up the UI of the backgrounds. I had redrawn the arrows and exit icons, but I still needed to test if everything works correctly and fix any possible errors.

One of the bugs from the last demo has also been fixed. It was related to the background of Sato bedroom, which appeared randomly in other backgrounds after getting the pacifier.

Once you got the pacifier, all the characters will have different dialogues. 

I had to reorganize each character's dialogue tree, so it took me much more time than I had expected, but it's worth it!

June will be able to examine the pacifier in the inventory, and choose what to do with it.

Once you have the pacifier and talk to Lola, Ms. Sato assigns a new mission to June: Play with one of her new sisters until the meal is ready.

For now, I'm focusing on the segment with Lola. She wants to play "museum" and has prepared some "artworks."

During this segment, you will be able to click on these drawings to learn more about Lola and deepen your relationship with her. I'm still building this segment, and only one of the interactions is done at this time.

There have been some changes in the game's script. We have rewritten parts to improve the flow, so it's deviating a bit from the original plan.

That means Ms.Mack family won't be included in the next update, unfortunately. But the work done on their bustsets and backgrounds won't be wasted, as they will be used for the second day in the Hive.

I would like to have the first day fully completed for the next demo. It's a bit ambitious considering the amount of work, so there may be some placeholders here and there. 

This month is going to be a big crunch time in order to get it done; will probably work a bit on week-ends!
