Ayy 3AM rant time. All the complainers in the comments honestly just make me feel bad for Soap. Soap is IMO the best abdl rule34 artist out there and gives everyone an equal chance to win, even going so far as to implement a cooldown time on characters who’ve previously won. There are basically 2 things in this comments section anymore: people cheering for their fav and people complaining about the polls. Honestly, it’s porn. Get over yourselves. Why get this worked up over the most reasonably fair system that soap can possibly do? Y’all realize soap could just go back to the old system, right? Commission tiers that don’t change hands unless someone dips out? Prices could be hiked and Soap could probably make more money doing it that way too. I’d hate to see the seething keyboard warriors if all the commission slots were taken up by Pokémon fans. I’m not a personal fan of 3 out of the 5 characters that won this poll, but I still appreciate that someone out there is enjoying them, and it’s clearly enough people to win. If y’all are sick of “the same characters always winning” then suggest someone new. If that doesn’t win, try someone else. My most recent winning suggestion was in December, with Sabrina Spellman, and I realistically had no expectations on if she’d win because she was in an entirely different realm of media (non-animated) than most of the winners here have been. Sure enough, y’all loved the idea as much as I did, and that’s something I’m glad I got to see. But seriously, if you don’t like current suggestions, mix them up. If your suggestions aren’t winning and you’re upset about that, literally go do anything else because getting mad over something like this is really just not healthy. Seriously, it seems like Soap’s polls are living in your head rent-free. Want to know my advice for when your suggestion doesn’t win (because most of mine don’t end up winning)? Literally just move on. There’s nothing you can do about it, and perpetuating negativity is just really not constructive and won’t get you anywhere. Y’all need to give it a break. I’m not a content creator, and I don’t speak for soap and will not try to, but making such a constant stream of varied, user-suggested content literally for our viewing pleasure must get so tiring when the comments are so often full of displeasure. Be thankful, because Soap could literally just one day decide “that’s it” and never draw any more.

Surprised this comment doesn't have more likes. Spot on. I've made complaints myself last year with the amount of Pokemon characters being drawn but I did eventually realise that at the end of the day, Soap doesn't have to keep drawing. If people are actually annoyed their suggestion only gets a few votes in the polls, go to the end of month suggestion stream and cross your fingers Soap likes the character enough to draw them. If he doesn't pick them, tough luck. Try again next time. No luck next time? Maybe try suggesting a different character. My first 'win' in the voting (Nymphadora) came only after a month or 2 where I suggested a different character when 4-5 months in a row she didn't get top 5. And at some point, you have to accept your character might not be popular enough to win the votes, no matter how much you like them. Popular characters that get drawn often are popular for a reason. Fair play to Soap for not budging on the rules.
