Upcoming changes! (Patreon)
Content
The end of my break is near and it's time to let you know about the changes I'm planning during the coming year!
Work cycles
First, I will change the way I work. I will work five months and then take a one month break before starting a new five month cycle of work.
During this break, I will rest but also (and mostly) prepare future projects for the Patreon.
Price Change
Prices are changing! There are now three tiers.
Tier 1, at $ 1 (+ VAT) remains a Tier for people who just want to support the Patreon.
Tier 2, at $ 2 (+ VAT) is a Tier where you can access illustrations, comics and games but you can't participate in suggestions, livestreams or votes.
Tier 3, at $ 3 (+ VAT) gives you access to everything, including suggestions, votes and livestreams.
I think the prices are still fair and if you can't afford to pay for Tier 3, at least you still have acess to all the content.
The increase on prices is due to two reasons, the first being that my country (France) is very heavy on taxes. Long story short, independent workers get a tax cut when they start their business and I'm at the end of that tax cut which means I now have to pay 25% tax per month (+other smalls taxes on top).
The second reason is that I have new objectives for the Patreon, which I outline for you below!
New Goals
I can't work more than I already do, but I still want to offer more content on the Patreon. So it's time to collaborate with other artists to speed things up!
The first goal is to pay an artist to make, each month, a sketch comic page. I would then do the lineart and colors for the page. That would bring the total number of comic pages to 5 per month (6 if we count the illustrated story on top of that) on the Patreon!
The second goal is to pay a 3D artist to work on the environments of the next visual novel.
The third and final goal will be to pay another artist to start another comic series and do one more comic sketch page per month that I will finish afterwards.
Perpetual Change and new game
Starting September, I will work on Perpetual Change three days a month instead of four.
The remaining day, I will be working on the pre-production of the next game: The Hive. It should be mostly character work. Probably also some tests on the new game engine to get used to it.
That's about all, I can't wait to start my next cycle of work!
