Deleted dream scene concept sketches (Patreon)

Some roughs of a freaky dream sequence that was supposed to precede the beginning of Chapter 14. 

The scene would've consisted of Dunbar being chased by a monster (possibly his own beast form), followed by an army of toy rats directed by Howard as a literal mustached orange. Dunbar would've reached his giant friend who turns him into a beefcake (referred to as "Dunbara" as an inside joke amongst my friends) giving him the physical strength needed to crush the monster. The giant then abandons Dunbar, who returns to his original form and falls into a dark abyss...

I decided not to add this sequence mainly due to timing. A metaphor for Dunbar's life journey represented in a bizarre dream scene felt more like a gimmick and a disruption to the flow and pacing of the story. However, I do like "Dunbara" and perhaps I'll implement him into the story in some other way.
