Bird therian and experimenting with new brushes (Patreon)

Last Monday, a sudden power outage turned the photoshop file, I was then working on, corrupted and unusable. As a result, I've lost a week worth of work and I am unfortunately  behind on things once again. 

However, I used this as an opportunity to update photoshop to the newest version and so far I am loving it. The brushes are cleaner and crispier overall, and fantastic for both inking and sketching. Expect some slight improvement in lineart quality for the next few comic pages and artwork.

I'm struggling to make this creature look scary. So far I'm just looking at various types of fierce predatory birds, mixing and matching features to see which one yields the coolest design. So far, I haven't found one I'm satisfied with but good thing still have a lot of time to work with before we even get to the point in the story where we introduce this character.
