Inside Scoop - October 8, 2018 (Patreon)

For a while, I had been thinking about expanding Salvadora's powerset, and this Ask the Cast provided the perfect opportunity...to put it off because I can't think of anything that would be really good in the comic yet. I used this Ask the Cast to leave Carmen's powers open-ended so I can have her do more stuff later when I can think of cool powers to use (and Xatra, too, since they have the same powers).

There were some minor changes made to this page as it was drawn, mainly what I call "Crouching Tiger Hidden Xatra" which is funnier than what was in the script for Xatra's entrance, and a slight reduction of dialogue in the final panel for better comedic timing.

When it comes to Ask the Cast, I try to look for questions that I can get a full page out of. So far I've always had at least one per round of questions, so I've never been in danger of having to stretch something or scramble through old questions from previous rounds.
