The goal of this issue is primarily to establish Finch as a regular character. She has already been established in the world as just another hero, so how do we bring her more to the forefront? By having her team up with Salvadora, of course!

Finch's role is going to be that "superhero's best friend who is also a superhero" trope that I just really love. Now, this episode isn't only about her, though! This episode is also made for a bunch of in-jokes between the Salvadora creative team, and to do some fun moments with other characters.

Breadburger is in of itself several in-jokes. Justin isn't a fan of the Big Mac, specifically the extra piece of bread in it, so the concept of the Breadburger is to take that element of the Big Mac to the extreme. The interior of Breadburger is based off of Five Guys, which is something we often privately discuss due to how expensive it is for what you get. There will be more in-jokes related to fast food (including ones that won't go over the reader's heads) soon enough in this episode.

The caption "That's right!" was originally supposed to be Sunshine Savior saying it, but something was lost in translation and it got worked into the Breadburger signage, which is actually better, as it's now like "that's right...we're called Breadburger."
