I’m afraid of June now. (Patreon)

Hey guys, first of all, the page is paused already.

Now, let’s begin with the important stuff. A once said in one of his books (once your mind is set on it), the Universe conspires in your favor to fulfill your personal legend. Personal legend its his fancy way to say dreams, but that’s the basic idea.

For me however, I think it’s the opposite, and it’s more like the Universe conspires against you to make your life filled with anxiety and fear.

While I might be a little hyperbolic in this statement, I can’t help to relate things. Last year, in June, I had a life threatening accident that I escaped out of fucking instinct.

While this year, my life wasn’t in danger (June is not over though…) this month has been fucking hell. There was a massive blackout near my region. The day before that I was planning to finally test Aeris the next day since she was done at the time. Then blackout happens.

Because of that blackout, even though I have a… I don’t know the word in english, but basically, it’s like a No Break… without being a No Break, it’s more like a Voltage thingy where you connect your shit so in the case of, well, sudden surges, they suffer between zero and just some damage. Voltage Regulator maybe.

Anyway, I have my PC connected, and when the blackout happened, there was a surge. My PC suffered damage. I thank my motherboard and their so called Surge Protector because, while it saved my drives and my processor from damage, one component on it actually suffered burning damage: it melted a plastic connection from my PSU, which I think it’s the 4-pin ATX.

Ironically, this PSU still worked, but I was using it to see how good it was because I was planning to use it as a spare PSU. Ironic that it’s dead now because of this.

The plastic casing of that 4-pin thing burned and melted on my motherboard’s socket. Now here is the thing, if you turn on a PC without that pin connected, that PC will still turn on, however, without that pin, it just won’t post.

So I tried my best to not further damage the motherboard and test if the 4-pin socket still works. At this point, I have all my hopes gone. I’m actually thinking the worse has happened, the socket is unusable and I’m left out without a PC and will need to buy a new one.

After 2 fucking hours of carefully moving shit around, I actually managed to unplug the melted plastic. Further inspection reveals that it seems like the plastic casing of the plug only melted on the outside, but it didn’t melt on the inside, so it was very hard and solid.  

The hell part gets in: the blackout lasted 7 days, and I only realized all of the above AFTER THE BLACKOUT GOT SORTED OUT. So I had to wait 7 long fucking days until the blackout got sorted out and realize all this shit just happened.

Once hell decided to stop, I grabbed that other PSU and I proceed to test it, my PC turns on, and it fucking post. My PC, still works. Right now, in my opinion, my PC is just in literally its last days. Any day that passes is one more day that it just survived.

If I survive this year’s hot infection, I think I will buy protective talismans for June, because it seems, June is out to get me.

Anyway, just like last year, I’m sorry I was out this last week guys, but, exactly like last year, it wasn’t on me.

I understand people leaving Patreon, and I hope people come back once they know what happened, but I really understand them leaving, hell, at the time, I was hoping Patreon had some sort of feature where if Page doesn’t have activity from the owner then it gets paused until the owner shows up, but I can see how that can backfire.  

Anyway, that’s a lot of posting for today.
