Hey guys! I hope you are doing ok!

So, when I began the outfitting, I just realized I actually messed something up, the character does indeed something with the letter C, however, it is not a Cape, it is a Cowl, sorry for spreading fake news!

Anyway, the model is more or less ready to be rigged, and right now I’m currently sitting on this Rig Riddle.

After some posing, this is how the Cowl looks like:

Note: the green of the torso was made on purpose so I had visual aid for outfitting clipping.

Nothing too fancy, however, it has a couple of bones. Literally, a couple. I’m more surprised it has two bones honestly, I was expecting zero bones from a Valve game lol

These are the weights of the arm. A little too intrusive, but again, what can you expect from 2 bones.

These are the weights of the helper bone. Again, a little too intrusive. The other side is not really an issue, I might just make another bone and parent it to the Clavicle or upper arm, because it’s not a mobile bend-able armor piece anyway.

The riddle is on the side I showcased:

- The Daz model has easily 2 influences at minimum: the Clavicle and the upper arm. That’s 1 more extra influence than the original rig.

- I need to find a balance between the 2 minimal influences and the helper.

- I need to find the proper bone to parent everything to it. I’m voting for the upper arm before hand (heh)

This is the last piece to rig. If I’m able to solve the riddle, I’m going to be able to do the rest of the rigging and begin with the Material Building.

Also, a quick heads-up: This model is going to be released for everyone. It’s not going to get a place on the release queue: if it is released for Patreon, it is released for the public.

Since this model figure was the same than Lei Lei’s one, I’m recycling Lei Lei’s torso texture. I’m just way too satisfied with the nipple texture transfer I did.

Anyway, that’s it for today. Wish me good luck guys! Stay safe and wash your hands!
