January sketches 1 (Patreon)

Here's the first batch of sketches for the month. I'll make another post on January 30th/31st with whatever else I have.

Not as many illustrations this time, but that's because I got back into drawing comics. I did a 3-page comic of two characters from a tabletop game I'm in and enjoyed it so much that I started on a MUCH bigger one about Jacob's (the horned guy in these pages) backstory. That one's 23 pages, so I'll put it in a different post now.

Either way, these have been great warm-ups and practice for what I'm working on. I'd been waffling and deliberating on what I was going to do for months and got through a few prototypes, but I feel pretty settled now that I'm back in the full swing of creating things and REALLY enjoying it. So as not to put the cart before the horse, I'll just post stuff when I got it.

Suffice it to say, while I got a prototype of the shooting game finished up, it's not what my heart's set on so I'm gonna mothball that until I decide to return to it.
