As there is only 4 episodes left to this arc, I just want to let you know that in the final episode of this arc there is an important extended scene for you guys to watch.

The point is supposed be about how Erza, even while doing something insane like fighting with all 5 senses gone, was set up to fail. No matter what she did she was going to lose the mission she was set up for. Erza's had a lot of spotlight, but this arc is primarily focused on the core 3: Natsu, Lucy, and Gray

Mashima probably dragged this arc out in the manga to fit the 17 page requirement for each chapter because this arc was weekly so I’m turn the anime gets dragged out too

Personally this is my least favorite Erza fight, especially upon the first time I watched it. I don't really like the way it's edited or choreographed except maybe the very end with Minerva. However, someone on the internets explanation of the fight made me feel slightly better about it, though I still wish the show itself explained it. That pain is a sense, but not a part of one of the main senses such as touch. As such, the sense that allowed Erza to find her opponent was her heightened pain sensitivity. She would have such a high pain sensitivity the air from the moving opponent would hurt her, allowing the pain to guide her movements. The fact that this isn't included at all in the show though, in addition to the decision of editing the fight into other scenes over and over as a way of keeping track of when events happen chronologically instead of having them play out chronologically to me makes it the worst fight Erza has still. Still a badass Erza moment though.

I kinda hope you guys gonna watch all the next 4 eps (they are going to be the last eps for this arc) together, and dont skip the post credit scene in 265, its superrr important! Anddd... about next arc, plz dont skip the next arc. You guys going to enjoy the next arc very much

Gray is not necessarily way stronger than Natsu here. However, he is literally a devil slayer (demon slayer). So he is the perfect candidate for this opponent.

When they are showing Erza fighting again it's showing that all of this is going on at the same time. This was a great one to listen to your guys thoughts and comments though. Definitely don't skip over any of the rest. The next arc is really important to the story.

Its cool because characters like Lucy and Gajeel mentioned many times how much stronger Gray's magic power has become as they described it to others. So its not just another type of slaying magic, his power just increased by an amount that lets him onto the top tiers of the Fairy Tail anime, and Gajeel described it as him becoming ''a different kind of person'' overall. I think you two kinda missed the parts where Grays insane increase has been described :'D

The studio A1-Pictures who animated fairy tail is currently working on solo leveling so busy with that. I think fairy tail 100 year quest is set for spring 2024 or is supposed to come out in 2024.

The fighting in the show got so different, like when you watch makarov fighting Jose in the phantom arc you see all these different high level tactical fighting but now then just use straight power
