OMG, Im so hype for you getting to the next arc and thinking that it will be at the new year makes me even more hype, I hope you guys getting ready to the arc. And about this current arc, In my opinion there are only few episodes that I like and thats why I dont hate this arc, and the episodes are 138, 144 and 150.

This is exactly what I said on the poll before the arc. This arc is the worst. The only thing I skip when I rewatch Fairy Tail. The next arc is my favorite in the whole series though so it gets better.

Aside from how annoying most of this arc was, if you guys would've skipped it then you would've missed out on Mira's Demon Halphas form along with some more Gildarts screentime and a wholesome end to the arc that you're about to watch

I definitely voted to watch this arc having rewatched FT within the last year. I remember the dumb parts of it but for me the good parts, especially here at the end, overshadow it. Especially because it is 'canon' by the anime and things about this arc will be brought up later. Even canon arcs sometimes have dumb aspects to them. Imo, the other filler arc is more annoying and I would not be mad about you skipping it. Or watching on your own time just to watch it.

It's the dilemma of "the world vs 1 person" so those church people who have no attachment to Lucy would have more of an attachment to the world, while FT would choose Lucy over the world. So yeah, I get why the church people would want to kill her to stop the world from descending into chaos.
