not gonna lie that syncing episodes together worked a lot better than I thought also fax's theory about zeref is somewhat big brain, I'm interested to see how it evolves, but this episode was dope, especially that moment between Makarov giving Hades his own work, that and Ultear being the one to restore the Tenrou Tree is so poetic. This arc is amazing BUT NOT QUITE OVER YET, mentally prepare yourself for the next 3 episodes boissss

Something Fairy Tail is really good at doing is creating near impossible odds for victory for Fairy Tail in the beginning of arcs and then us somehow winning anyway in a way that doesn't feel natural or forced whatsoever. I think the earliest example of this was the Oracion Seis arc, we got mollywhopped hella badly in the beginning if you recall correctly by everyone and took a massive L but SLOWLY stuff happened, Gray and Lyon took out Racer, Hot Eye turned to our side cuz of Nirvana magic, Lucy took out Angel, everyone got their own one on one fights and everything blended in really well. The same was kinda with this arc, we didn't collectively take an L but when we first saw Azuma with his banger entrance destroying all the magic council attack ships without moving a muscle and then clapping Lily, Wendy, and Mest, the thought of there being 6 more of those guys (the 7 Kin of Purgatory), and Bluenote who was on an entirely different level entirely, AND MASTER HADES HIMSELF was unfathomable. But we all managed to come back and pull through, shit was amazing, I love it when Fairy Tail does that

About the upcoming the filler arc, in my openion it is a good arc, but anyway you still should react to at least eps 125-127, and eps 123-4 are still a cannon eps and we will be back to the canon at episode 151 (the second half of ep 151 will be a canon), BUT I think that the upcoming arc will be enjoyable, the upcoming arc is also my favorite filler arc of the series. BUT on the another hand, I cant wait for you to react to the craziness of the GMG arc

And about Acnologia, I cant wait to watch you reaction when you find what it is on ep 122, anyway you guys should prepre yourself (emotionaly as well) to the 3 upcoming episodes (espically eps 122-3)

This is mainly directed at Neel because I know he’s seen Naruto and Bleach, but for me their filler is drawn out and bland; Fairy Tail isn’t like that, their filler is short and to the point, on top of being enjoyable. Even with it being filler, it does help build up to the next arc. I would encourage you both to keep going :)

The filler arc isn't bad per se, it's just sandwiched between two banger arcs so it pales in comparison lol. It has good moments but I personally skip it anytime I rewatch fairy tail anymore

So the filler arc is kind of meh and the fact that the only things we get from it is like 1-2 irrelevant things from it that are barely mentioned later on makes it suck kind of. With the Zeref demons, it is true that he made them but as to why he made them won’t be revealed for a while but will explain why the ones we have seen so far are really strong, Hades even casted a spell that summons demons from the book of Zeref and honestly those were like foot soldier demons

I think this is the main thing I've noticed with Fairy Tail. They actually have quite good fillers and on first watch they're pretty decent (except Daphne imo) but the problem is all the longest fillers are right before the best arcs which makes it really painful on rewatch. Daphne before Edolas. Key of the Starry Sky before GMG. Eclipse Spirits (not really a filler I know but Tartaros makes it look like one) before Tartaros. What I've seen on a lot of reaction channels is the viewers think of it in terms of whats to come and their favorite arcs and what they want to see so they say to skip the filler "cause its bad" but they don't think of it from a new viewer PoV. Starry Sky is the best example imo, its really not a bad arc there are good fights some good jokes some silly character moments its just that its filler so it doesn't progress anything. Also it does have to be pointed out that Starry Sky isn't really so much a filler as anime exclusive. As the Mashima has said that he did want to put it in the manga but didn't have time. And the "Zentopia incident" does actually get referenced in the Manga (chapter 282) even though it doesn't actually appear in the manga.
