This episode cemented Iskandar and Gilgamesh as my two favorite characters in all of Fate. And that's saying something because Fate has an ungodly amount of characters lol.

Summons do not go back to their time period when they die. They go to the throne of heroes and await to be summoned again. They will have no memories of their past lives or past summons with a few notable exceptions.
