You guys are completely miss reading the situation between Lancer and his masters fiancé. Back in episode 4 Saber mentioned that Lancer was trying to put her under a Charm spell at least thats what it seemed like until Lancer reveals that the mole on his face enchants woman to fall in love with him and there's nothing he can do to stop it, it was something he was born with unfortunately which is why the woman in his memories fell for him at first glance and then the same happened to Sola-ui (his masters fiancé) which is why it seems so sudden that she likes him. Saber is not affected by it due to her extremely high magic resistance. This also ties into why he's so loyal to his master cuz in his memory he had no control of the woman falling in love with him which was seen as him being a traitor even though he didn't mean it.

How are they completely misreading it? Everything they said in their discussion was right except for maybe them not remembering the magic mole. But they definitely got the general gist of what’s going on history repeat itself, and the mole detail is honestly pretty irrelevant when thinking that Sola is just crushing on Lancer because he’s handsome AF doesn’t really change the narrative at all.

The mole is actual the major fact in it. Sola is falling for Lancer because she got charmed by it, like the girl in his back story, not because he is just handsome AF, to put it in your words.

Thank you for explaining what happened even though I obviously already knew what happened... My point is that them maybe not remembering the magic mole doesn't change their understanding of the rest of Lancer's story at all. They know what happened in his backstory and how he died. They know that history seems to be repeating itself with Sola-Ui and Kayneth. They know that Sola is into Lancer, Kayneth is jealous/worried, and Lancer is loyal and just wants to redeem himself. The idea that they're "completely misreading" the situation is utter nonsense. You misread my comment way worse than they misread the plot of the show.
