The main theme of Fairy Tail is best summed up in this question: "How far would you go for the ones you love?" it's a recurring theme in the series right until the end.

I guess people drop Naruto at the Zabuza arc because the anime took its time back then? Only thing I can think of. Because it's a banger of an arc. I struggle with this Fairy Tail arc too, I did enjoy Gray's backstory a lot but the rest is meh. But this tells you that the other arcs are better in comparison!
