The Isle of Angels (Patreon)

It's getting hot out again, and you know what that means! It's time for vacation again! Onto Terajuma Island once more. I last left this place back in December when I got a little burned out on working on the area, but I've since returned and started working full force~.

I'm not sure if I ever showed off the new Kristiline, but I've been working on editing Isle of Angels, and it's in a very rough form rn, but I wanted to show this particular screencap.

I've been trying to play with lighting a lot more and I'm a bit obsessed to the point where if a map doesnt have some sort of lighting I don't like it. Which is hella toxic to myself but what's life without a little bit of toxicity.

The Isle of Angels itself didn't have much going for it, but I've taken the theme I've done for Kristiline (Mermaid theme), and applied it to Isle of Angels. Again, it's still very incomplete and events are everywhere, but I think it's starting to shape up pretty well. 

Once upon a time maps used to take me less than a day, but now that my maps have gotten a bit more complex they take multiple days........................ But I think it's worth it in the end. Even if this particular tileset is a pain in the ass to work with. I really really despise how RPGMakerXP only allows for like 7 autotiles. The reason why so many tileset spots exist in the game is because of those darn autotiles. If you're unsure what auto tiles are, they're pretty much tiles that automatically tile themselves properly into shapes/animations. This is mostly used with sidewalks, water, and things like that. 

Other than that I've taken an impromptu break of sorts-- Recently I got medical help with my anxiety and the medication kicked my ass for a little bit. The side effects are starting to settle now, but it was hard to get things done. I should be good to go starting now!

Oh, and apparently Pokemon Home is getting support for PLA soon? Exciting stufffff.
